Forever Friends Animal Rescue and Sanctuary is the only “all species” charity in Australia providing emergency accommodation for vulnerable animals including dogs, cats, horses and farmed animals who face a premature death in pounds and shelters and cannot be placed in foster homes at short notice.
While in the care of our 1,000 plus volunteers, animals receive veterinary treatment and rehabilitation before being placed in foster homes while they await adoption. Since 2011, we have saved over 11,000 animals. Sadly, over 600 are dying every day in pounds and shelters.
We have strong bonds with our community and have a unique role to play in nurturing the animal-human bond through the gift of companionship. Our doors are open to people from all walks of life, young and old, and include families, businesses, community groups, schools, universities, aged care homes and more. You are all welcome!
